About

I'm Nick! I'm a sound designer, composer, and dialog producer for games based in Charlotte, NC. I began in 2017 working on game jams and various demo projects and in 2022 I went full-time as a freelancer managing audio productions for small-team indie game developers. And I'm still going strong!


I've made music most of my life playing in various bands and writing my own electronic material, but I always had an interest in games and animation. Once I finally found an avenue into it with some friends from high school, I quickly realized that my favorite part to designing sound for games is getting to create assets that are designed to respond to player choices. Creating a living and breathing environment sonically has been the most gratifying and fascinating part of this job for me.

My philosophy behind a great experience is sweating the details. From characters who hum to the music, or little features that do nothing but add to the immersion of the game looking at you Luigi's Mansion are elements that do so much to enhance a players experience - even if they don't realize it in the moment. But they will definitely remember it.


I'm well versed with Unity and FMOD, but I've done some work in Unreal and Wwise as well. Reaper is my DAW of choice. I love the editing features and use of custom scripts that make production flow a lot faster!
